It only lives in the Philippines. This species is currently critically endangered. The cause of it being endangered is due to deforestation of its habitats.
This bird preys on monkeys like what the name says, bats, lemurs, civets, squirrels, and macaques. Also other birds, and even snakes and lizards.

It is really nice to raise awareness over this species at the border of extinction. It is a specie that may not be well known so, even if it goes extinct the people who don't know about it will not know it. I myself didn't know about it until I read this article. Nice job sharing out your knowledge and raising awareness.
